Zijin Mining Construction Group (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. (stock code: 601899), is a specialized, international and diversified construction group integrating the engineering design, construction and supervision. It was founded in 2003 (formerly known as Fujian Shanghang Jinshan Construction Engineering Co., Ltd.), with a registered capital of 300 million yuan and nearly 10,000 employees.


The Company is specialized in the three core businesses of large and medium-sized open pit mine, underground mine mining and construction and installation engineering, with comprehensive Class A engineering survey, Class A design for metallurgical and mining specialties, comprehensive Class A supervision, Class I qualification for general contracting of mining and building engineering construction, Class I qualification for mechanical and electrical installation specialty, as well as construction qualifications covering the highway, metallurgy, fire protection, anti-corrosion and blasting.

The Company has comprehensively improved the mechanization, scale, intelligence and greenness level of engineering equipment, owned the world's first mining TBM with a large slope and an ultra-small turning radius, systematically promoted the deep integration of unmanned driving technology and digitalization in the mining field, and vigorously introduced new energy equipment such as large-tonnage electric wide-body mine trucks and electric loaders.     The world's first "Zijin Jianshe" TBM, with an ultra-small turning radius at a large slope, was successfully commissioned underground at Duobaoshan Mine on October 15, 2022, achieving a monthly progress of 503 m and a maximum daily progress of 34 m, and winning high recognition from the owner and the local government. Initial results have been achieved in the application of TBM in the ramp construction of metal mines, which is of great significance to accelerate the construction of underground tunneling works and ensure safe underground construction.

    In order to eliminate the shortcomings of the conventional drilling and blasting method on the quincunx-shaped cutting construction technology, the Company has proposed the construction method of large-diameter deep-hole cutting and tunneling with parallel large-hole jumbo, and produced a special large-diameter drilling jumbo for cutting. With the large-diameter long-hole cutting method, the number of cutting perforations is reduced, the circular footage of drift excavation is increased, and the construction period of drift is shortened, and thus realizing efficient, economical and rapid cutting and blasting.

    The technology has been successfully applied in the installation works of 500 t/d Pressure Oxidation Project at Taror Gold Mine of Joint Venture Zeravshan Limited Liability Company. Large lifting machinery is not required, and the existing machines and tools are used, to improve the work efficiency, which solves the installation problem of autoclave and other large equipment in case of no large lifting equipment in the local area.

    The 3D model of complex truss hoisting conditions is built quickly through 3D scanning mapping technology or aerial surveying and mapping technology. BIM modeling of the proposed building and truss is conducted, and the proposed building and structure are integrated with the previously scanned 3D terrain model through BIM technology, so as to generate a complete 3D model. The technology has been successfully applied in the Phase-III Technical Transformation Project of Xinjiang Zijin Zinc Industry Co. Ltd., Hydrometallurgical Plant Project for Zijin Mountain Gold-Copper Mine, project of Xinjiang Jinbao Mining Co., Ltd. and other projects.
