Theme promotion education

The event follows the Group's action against corruption in the field of procurement and trade. The supervisory department gave a briefing on the progress made at Phase I of the Action and invited some representatives of suppliers (constructors) in Xiamen to a workshop on integrity and increased awareness of the company culture on integrity.

As part of the workshop, the supervisory department made presentations on the theme of “Foster Workplace Integrity and Build a Line of Defense Against Corruption”, making clear the Company's unswerving stance and determination in combating business bribery. At the same time, specific requirements for how to enforce integrity responsibilities were proposed, aiming to build a mutually beneficial and win-win business environment. The representatives of suppliers present also made remarks and A Letter of Commitment on Integrity by the Partners was signed on the spot.

The Company also had the staff watch the first episode of the documentary “Sword Protects Free Trade Port”, which features the theme “Combat corruption in construction” and provides an incisive analysis of some typical cases of corruption in the construction sector. The cases in the construction sector featured in the documentary highly tally with the Company's main responsibilities and main business lines and ring the alarm of integrity and self-discipline again for the staff.

In the future, the Company will continue to resort to integrity awareness programs and on the occasion of some milestones, internally strengthen awareness and education, and urge the staff to practice self-discipline and receive precautionary education; while externally convey the brand image of “Integrity Zijin”, highlighting its strong stance against corruption.
